AlertCalifornia LiDAR Atlas
Data Portal

The AlertCalifornia LiDAR Atlas builds on functionality developed by the OpenTopography project, leveraging massive network storage blocks and multi-resolution streaming technologies to provide interoperable pre-processed visual GIS products for research, assessment, and visualization, by enabling larger scale feature specific data segmentation and download. The project has re-hosts all publicly available California LiDAR data for simplified access by emergency workers, academics, public utility providers, government authorities, and the general public, establishing an infrastructure for an online statewide 3D digital twin which can feed directly into visualization and research pipelines as well as metaverse instances.
